The youth exchange ‘’Open Mind Knows No Borders’’

The youth exchange ‘’Open Mind Knows No Borders’’ brings together 40 young people, high school students, from four neighbouring countries (Macedonia, Serbia, Hungary and Croatia) with different ethnic, national, religious, historical, cultural backgrounds to the city of Sombor (Vojvodina, Serbia) united to learn about each other and create an atmosphere of peace, non-violence, respect of human rights in which they can find what connects them despite their differences.

” Open mind knows no borders’ ‘ is implemented in partnership with the fourhigh schools:  “Veljko Petrović” (Sombor, Serbia), “Bela Gimnasium” (Baja, Hungary), “Koco Racin” (Veles, Macedonia) and “I Grammar school” (Osijek, Croatia) .

This youth exchange is designed as an non-formal learning opportunity for 40 high school pupils and 8 leaders / teachers from four mentioned countries and entire activity is completely free for those target groups.  They come from the cities which refugees pass through on their way to Western Europe and which are affected by the refugee crisis.

Detailed program of the youth exchange was designed by youth workers certified by NAPOR (National Association of Youth Workers of Serbia) Branislav TrudićAleksandar Trudić and Ena Horvat and it includes different methods of non-formal education in order to create learning and sharing environment for the participants in which they will develop competences (knowledge, skills and abilities).

YE programme copyDuring  youth exchange, the participants will use various methods of non-formal learning to share knowledge and experience in a friendly atmosphere full of understanding, friendship and solidarity.

Young people are full of ideas and initiatives, they initiate social changes, and this youth exchange would be a great opportunity for their potential not only to be expressed but also used for creating new ideas related to mutual overcoming of the current migration problems, within possibilities of the youth actions. After the exchange, they will apply what they have learnt during exchange by implementing activities in their schools and local communities.

Our joint efforts to help migrants will be making of multilingual pocket dictionary of basic vocabulary that will make communication easier when passing through these four countries or during stay in them.

Omladinska razmena ”Otvoren um ne poznaje granice”

Projekat ‘Otvoren um ne poznaje granice’, u okviru koga se realizuje omladinska razmena, okuplja na jednom mestu 40 mladih, srednjoškolaca, iz 4 susedne zemlje Zapadnog Balkana sa različitim etničkim, nacionalnim, religijskim, istorijskim bogatstvima, u gradu Somboru (Vojvodina, Srbija) ujedinjenih da uče jedni o drugima i tako stvore atmosferu mira, nenasilja, poštovanja ljudskih prava u kojoj će pronaći šta ih sve međusobno povezuje uprkos njihovim različitostima.

YE poster INFO for schoolsOva omladinska razmena osmišljena je kao prilika za neformalno obrazovanje 40 srednjoškolca i 8 lidera/nastavnika iz četiri pomenute države, a troškovi učešća su u potpunosti pokriveni. Ovi mladi dolaze iz gradova koji  predstavljaju tranzitna mesta na putu migranata ka zemljama Zapadne Evrope i koji su na taj način direktno pogođeni migrantskom krizom.

Program razmene osmišljen je od stane omladinskih radnika sertifikovanih od strane NAPOR-a: Branislav TrudićAleksandar Trudić Ena Horvat  i uključuje različite neformalne metode u cilju stvaranja podsticajnog okruženja za učenje i razmenu iskustva u kome će mladi razvijati svoje kompetencije (znanja, veštine i sposobnosti).

Putem omladinske razmene, koristeći različite metode neformalnog učenja, mladi će razmeniti znanja i iskustva i tako jačati atmosferu zajedništva, prijateljstva, razumevanja i solidarnosti, a nakon razmene prenosiće svoje znanje i iskustvo u svojim lokalnim zajednicama kroz implementaciju aktivnosti u svojim školama i javne akcije u svom gradu.

Naš zajednički doprinos u pomoći migrantima biće izrada džepnog višejezičnog rečnika osnovnog vokabulara koji će migrantima olakšati snalaženje u osnovnoj komunikaciji prilikom prolaska kroz ove četiri države ili boravak u njima.
